South Texas Kayak Paddle adventures allow beginners and experienced paddlers to enjoy a great day out on the water.

Your day will begin at one of our pre-determined “take-out” points, from there, we will shuttle you upriver to a pre-determined “put-in” point where you’ll receive personal attention from our knowledgeable guides.

 

We'll review safety and essential techniques for river kayaking, equip you with quality, properly fitting equipment (all basic safety and paddling equipment provided) and allow you time to become comfortable and familiar with your equipment proceeding.

Each adventure is tailored to the group and the natural environment of the day…no adventure is "canned". However, we are often fortunate to experience, up close, white-tailed deer, turkey, Javelina, raccoon, hawks, herons, and turtles among many other wonderful species of Texas wildlife.

During your adventure, we will pause for two short breaks where you can relax along the river’s edge, enjoy a snack or go for a swim.

Along the way, our knowledgeable guides will help you practice; basic paddling strokes, learn wet exits, how to re-enter a kayak and how to rescue yourself and others, giving you the essential skills needed to paddle on your own.
